印順導師「藥師經講記」中的科判

所附上的檔案是小弟在幾三年前在一個藥師經讀書會中整理的資料。
只是把 印順導師的「藥師經講記」中的科判部份用excel排出來。
這樣看來非常清楚易讀。
相信在此論壇上有不少人對藥師如來的大願有很大的認同,
也許可以就藥師經的學習多所交流。
和大家分享。

要做醫生先看這一段經文 — 談藥師經中的「九橫死」第一

藥師經全名「藥師琉璃光如來本願功德經」,這是偏向密法的淨土法門。原為密教經典,但在漢文佛教中廣受顯教的重視。在淨土法門中,本經在強調他力加持的力量外,更特別的是強調了現世利樂的圓滿。

玉琳國師藥師經序文中有偈云:「人間亦有揚州鶴,但泛如來功德舟. 」就是說明本經在世間法和出世間法之間的無礙和圓滿。

東方淨土的殊勝在於與此生此土的圓滿成就也有關係。當我們身口意三方面都得到自在輕安,出世間的法更可以因此資糧而易有所成就。

佛法中常稱佛陀為無上醫王或大藥師,這是表示佛能治療一切眾生的種種身心疾病。佛經裡提到:人的生理上有三種病──老、病、死;心理上也有三種病──貪、瞋、痴。而佛陀皆以總總法門治眾生之病。所以我們讚嘆佛為大醫王、大藥師。

有志為醫者,常以藥師佛之大願以為己願。筆者雖為初學且愚昧不明,亦竊以藥師大願為念。常以「利益安樂一切有情」為從醫之志。

但看經中的以下一段,則常可令人生警惕深省之心:

爾時,阿難問救脫菩薩言:「善男子!雲何已盡之命而可增益」?救脫菩薩言:「大德!汝豈不聞如來說有九橫死耶?是故勸造續命旛燈,修諸福德,以修福故,盡 其壽命不經苦患」。阿難問言:「九橫雲何」?救脫菩薩言:「
(一)若諸有情,得病雖輕,然無醫藥及看病者,設復遇醫,授以非藥,實不應死而便橫死。又信世間邪魔、外道妖孽之師妄說禍福,便生恐動,心不自正,卜問覓禍,殺種種眾生,解奏神明,呼諸魍魎,請乞福祐,欲冀延年,終不能得。愚痴迷惑,信邪倒見,遂令橫死入於地獄,無有出期,是名初橫。
二者、橫被王法之所誅戮。
三者、畋獵嬉戲,耽淫嗜酒,放逸無度,橫為非人奪其精氣。
四者、橫為火焚。
五者、橫為水溺。
六 者、橫為種種惡獸所噉。
七者、橫墮山崖。
八者、橫為毒藥、厭禱、咒詛、起屍鬼等之所中害。
九者、饑渴所困,不得飲食而便橫死。
是為如來略說橫死,有此九 種,其餘復有無量諸橫,難可具說!」


藥師經上頭說九種橫死,第一種就是以身體方面的病來說,小病被治成大病,大病被治到死。簡單講就是醫生醫死的! 而心中的病則為邪師所害。

若諸有情,得病雖輕,然無醫藥及看病者,設復遇醫,授以非藥,實不應死而便橫死」這在恩師的評論和文章中提到太多這種本不該死而被醫死的例子。我們也看到太多令人事後悲痛不已的例子。

身為有心為醫的我們,這實在是要常常誦讀自醒的一段提醒。而尋找醫藥援救的每個人,都要在救脫菩薩的這段話中自我警覺您所得到的醫療到底是什麼?

 是佛? 是魔?
